Senior and Disabled Ride Assistance

FREE transportation for Blue Mound residents who are Senior Citizens and/or disabled!

Starting October 15, 2024 in cooperation with Catholic Charities Fort Worth(CCFW), the City of Blue Mound provides rides for Blue Mound residents. Residents 65 years of age and older, and/or disabled, can get transportation to medical appointments and medical-related trips at no cost. Attendants helping elderly or disabled riders also ride free!

• Who: Residents 65+ years of age or older, and/or disabled
• When: Starting October 15th, every Wednesday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Where: From/to your home and any location in Blue Mound, Watauga, or Saginaw
• How: To schedule a ride, call 817-336-8714, Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Be prepared to show your ID to confirm residency. Assistants to Senior Citizens or the disabled also ride free. For more information call City Hall at 817-232-0663. Pamphlets are being sent out to all residents.
