New Police Chief Sworn In

On April 5, 2023, Antonio Segura was sworn in as the new police chief. Chief Segura comes to the City with over 15 years experience in law enforcement, a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a Master’s Peace Officer License. He has a certificate of leadership from the FBI-LEEDA academy and is a certified TCOLE Police Instructor, Firearms Instructor and Less-lethal Munitions Instructor. A “Meet the Chief” event is planned in the comings weeks, with more information available soon.
